When Corey, a dramatic, fast-talking lad from Sunderland, falls for Easten, a warm and effortlessly unbothered local from Pegswood, he finds himself pulled into a village where everyone knows your name, your business, and what you had for tea before you have even unpacked a bag.

Pegswood is a heartfelt, chaotic sitcom about love, family, class, identity and the culture shock of being folded into someone else’s world. Corey is used to controlling the room, overthinking every interaction and turning minor inconveniences into full personal emergencies. Easten, meanwhile, has grown up in a place where neighbours appear at windows with power tools, mams shout through ceilings, and privacy is treated more like a rumour than a right.

As their relationship deepens, Corey is gradually introduced to the life of Pegswood: family breakfasts he did not consent to, village gossip he cannot keep up with, nights out that spiral from harmless to criminally stupid, and a community that is both suffocating and strangely impossible not to love. What begins as Corey trying to survive Easten’s family soon becomes something bigger: a young couple learning how to build a life together while surrounded by people who have absolutely no intention of minding their own business.

Blending the warmth and family chaos of Hebburn with the rough-edged mischief of Brassic, Pegswood is a comedy about finding home in the last place you expected. It is loud, nosy, affectionate and ridiculous, but underneath the hangovers, gossip, bad decisions and garden power tools, it is a love story about two young men trying to work out who they are, where they belong, and whether a village can become family before it drives you completely insane.
